    Acceptable Use Policy

    Last updated: 23 September 2026

    1. Purpose

This policy sets out what's expected of anyone using GuardLink — company administrators, office staff, and guards using the mobile portal — on top of our Terms of Service.

    2. You must not

    • Enter personal data into GuardLink that you don't have a lawful basis to process.
    • Share login credentials between individuals, or use another person's account.
    • Attempt to access, scrape, or export data belonging to a company you're not authorised for.
    • Upload malicious files, or attempt to probe, scan, or bypass GuardLink's security controls.
    • Use the platform to harass, discriminate against, or unlawfully monitor employees beyond what's disclosed to them.
    • Misrepresent attendance, compliance, or incident records.
    • Use automated tools to place excessive load on the service outside normal business use.

    3. Guard portal use

Guards using the mobile portal should only clock in, complete checkpoints, or submit reports for shifts they are actually working. Location data captured at check-in is used for attendance and patrol verification only.

    4. Reporting a concern

If you believe GuardLink is being misused, or you've found a security issue, contact us at support@guardlink.app — we take reports seriously and will investigate.

    5. Enforcement

A breach of this policy may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of access, in line with our Terms of Service.
